Tourist : Excuse me, I seem to be lost.
سائح: عذرا، يبدو اني ضللت الطريق.
Local : Where are you trying to get to?
مواطن: إلى اين تريد الذهاب؟
Tourist : Can you point me in the direction of the post office?
سائح: هل يمكنك ان تشير لي في اي اتجاه يوجد مكتب البريد؟
Local : Actually I am not familiar with this area.
مواطن: في الواقع انا لست معتاد على هذه المنطقة.
Tourist : Do you know if there is one near where we are?
سائح: هل تعلم اذا كان هناك واحد بالقرب من هنا؟
Local : I am not exactly sure where it is but I do think there is one close by.
مواطن: لست متأكدا تماما اين هو ولكن اظن ان هناك واحد قريب منا.
Tourist : Well I know the address.
سائح: حسنا انا اعلم العنوان.
Local : What’s the address?
مواطن: ما هو العنوان؟
Tourist : Maybe you know where Mitchell Street is?
سائح: ربما تعلم اين يوجد شارع ميتشل؟
Local : No I''''m sorry I don''''t know but there is a tourist office in the mall not too far from here.
مواطن: كلا انا اسف لا اعلم ولكن هناك مكتب سياحة في السوق التجاري ليس ببعيد عن هنا.
Tourist : A tourist office?
سائح: مكتب سياحة؟
Local : Yes. Do you know where that is?
مواطن: نعم. هل تعلم اين هو؟
Tourist : No I don''''t can I walk there or do I need to take a bus?
سائح: كلا لا اعلم، هل يمكنني الذهاب إلى هناك سيرا ام يجب ان استقل الحافلة؟
Local : It’s up to you it''''s only about one kilometre from here.
مواطن: هذا يرجع إليك هو يبعد حوالي كيلومتر واحد من هنا.
Tourist : Could you show me on this map?
سائح: هل يمكنك ان تريني على الخريطة؟
Local : Sure I can its very easy.
مواطن: بالتأكيد استطيع، انها سهلة جدا.
Tourist : Great I hate to be lost.
سائح: رائع فانا اكره ان افقد طريقي.
Local : This is where we are now on the map.
مواطن: نحن هنا الأن على الخريطة.
Tourist : Okay. Then what direction am I heading in?
سائح: حسنا، إلى اي اتجاه سأذهب؟
Local : You just head straight down this road going north.
مواطن: فقط سير مباشرة باتجاه الشمال.
Tourist : Is it a main road?
سائح: هل هذ ا الطريق الرئيسي؟
Local : Yes it is. Now at the end of this road there is a T-junction in this area here. You want to go left at that junction.
مواطن: نعم هو كذلك. والأن عند نهاية هذا الطريق يوجد تقاطع ثلاثي. ستنعطف إلى اليسار عند هذا التقاطع.
Tourist : I’m following so far.
سائح: انا اتابعك حتى الأن.
Local : Well that’s pretty much it because the mall is on the right just keep heading down this road until you see it.
مواطن: حسنا هذا كل شيء فهناك ستحد السوق التجاري على اليمين فقط امشي في الشارع حتى تجده.
Tourist : So it is on Thomas Avenue?
سائح: اذن هو عند ميدان توماس؟
Local : Yes that''''s right you''''ve got it.
مواطن: نعم هذا صحيح لقد فهمت.
Tourist : Thank you so much for your help.
سائح: شكرا جزيلا للمساعدة.
Local : You are most welcome. I''''m sorry I didn’t know where the post office was but they will definitely be able to help you at the tourist office.
مواطن: انت على الرحب والسعة. انا أسف فلا اعلم اين هو مكتب البريد، ولكن بالتأكيد في مكتب السياحة سيستطيعون مساعدتك.
