في التاكسي

Asha : I want to get to the Central Bank in the city.

أشأ: أريد الذهاب إلى البنك المركزي بالمدينة.

Taxi Driver : Alright, that will be twenty bucks.

سائق التاكسي: حسنا، سيكلفك هذا عشرون دولار.

Asha : I am running a little late can you get me there in fifteen minutes?

آشا: أنا متأخرة قليلا هل يمكنك ان توصلني إلى هناك خلال خمسة عشر دقيقة؟

Taxi Driver : I will be going over the speed limit if I do that.

سائق التاكسي: سأتخطى السرعة المحددة ان فعلت ذلك.

Asha : How long will it take to get there?

آشا: كم من الوقت سنستغرق للوصول إلى هناك؟

Taxi Driver : It will take at least twenty five minutes.

سائق التاكسي: سنستغرق على الأقل خمسة وعشرون دقيقة.

Asha : Is there a shorter route that you can take?

آشا: هل هناك طريق مختصر يمكننا ان نسلكه؟

Taxi Driver : I can try a few back roads that I know.

سائق التاكسي: يمكنني ان احاول بعض الطرق الخلفية التي اعرفها.

Asha : I would appreciate anything you can do to get me there in time.

آشا: سأقدر جدا إي شيء قد تفعله لنصل إلى هناك في الوقت المحدد؟

Taxi Driver : Why are you in such a hurry anyway?

سائق التاكسي: لماذا انت بهذه العجلة على أية حال؟

Asha : I have a job interview at 9:00am and I really would like to get this job.

آشا: لدي مقابلة توظيف في التاسعة صباحا واني ارغب حقا في الحصول على هذه الوظيفة.

Taxi Driver : Why did you call for a cab so late then?

سائق التاكسي: أذن لماذا تأخرت في الأتصال بالتاكسي؟

Asha : I just came into town for the interview and could not get to sleep last night. So I was in a rush this morning because I fell asleep around five in the morning and did not hear the alarm.

آشا: لقد اتيت إلى المدينة فقط لحضور المقابلة ولم استطع النوم الليلة الماضية. لذلك كنت على عجلة هذا الصباح حيث غفوت في النوم في الساعة الخامسة صباحا ولم اسمع صوت المنبه.

Taxi Driver : Well these things happen. I will try my best to get you there as early as possible.

سائق التاكسي: حسنا تحدث مثل هذه الاشياء. سأفعل افضل ما بوسعي للوصول في اقرب وقت.

Asha : Thank you so much.

آشا: شكرا جزيلا

Taxi Driver : here we are with at least two minutes to spare.

سائق التاكسي: ها نحن قد وصلنا قبل الميعاد بحوالي الدقيقتين.

Asha : Thanks again, I really appreciate.

آشا: شكرا ثانية، اني حقا اقدر ذلك.

Taxi Driver : No problem, good luck.

سائق التاكسي: لا مشكلة، اتمنى لك حظا سعيدا.

Asha : Wait a second. May I have your card or something I would like you to take me back to the hotel when I’m finished.

آشا: انتظر ثانية، هل لي ببطاقة العمل الخاصة بك فأريدك ان تعيدني إلى الفندق بعد انتهائي.

Taxi Driver : I don’t have any cards let me give you my cell number and you can just give me a call when you are ready.

سائق التاكسي: ليس معي إي بطاقة عمل دعيني اعطيكي رقم هاتفي الجوال ويمكنك مكالمتي عندما تكوني جاهزة.

Asha : That would be great because you already know exactly where I need to go.

آشا: سيكون ذلك رائعا، فأنت تعلم اين اريد الذهاب.

Taxi Driver : How long do you think you will be here?

سائق التاكسي: إلى متى تعتقدين انك ستبقين؟

Asha : It shouldn’t take more than an hour. Even if I have to wait a few minutes for you I don’t mind.

آشا: لايجب ان يستغرق الأمر اكثر من ساعة. لا أمانع حتى ان اضطررت إلى الانتظار بضعة دقائق.

Taxi Driver : Alright then I will see you later. I will pick you up right here when you call me.

سائق التاكسي: حسنا أراك لاحقا. سآتي للقائك هنا عندما تتصلي بي.

Asha : Perfect! See you later.

آشا: رائع! أراك لاحقا
