End of Term Report
تقرير نهاية الفصل الدراسي
Ben : Let’s get started with grading and sorting these reports.
بن: دعنا نبدء بتصحيح وفرز هذه التقارير.
Steve : How late will we be working today?
ستيف: كم سنتأخر اليوم بالعمل؟
Ben : I’m not sure. Why do you ask?
بن: لست متأكدا. لم تسأل؟
Steve : I want to call my wife to let her know what time I will be home.
ستيف: أريد ان اتصل بزوجتي لأعلمها متى سأعود للمنزل؟
Ben : I didn’t have a particular time in mind.
بن: لايوجد موعد محدد في بالي.
Steve : Well what is our deadline?
ستيف: حسنا ما هو الموعد الأخير المحدد لانجاز العمل؟
Ben : We have to finish the grading over a two week period.
بن: يجب علينا الانتهاء من التقييم في مدة اسبوعين.
Steve : How many reports do we have to grade?
ستيف: كم عدد التقارير التي يجب علينا تقييمها؟
Ben : I believe there are three hundred.
بن: اعتقد انه هناك ثلاثمائة.
Steve : How do you want to divide the work?
ستيف: كيف تود ان نتقاسم العمل؟
Ben : Well I think we should split it half and half.
بن: حسنا، اعتقد انه يجب علينا تقسيمه بتساو.
Steve : That seems fair. I think we probably work at the same pace.
ستيف: هذا يبدو منصف. اظن اننا غالبا ما سنعمل بنفس السرعة.
Ben : My only concern is the review.
بن: ما يقلقني فقط هو المراجعة.
Steve : What do you mean?
ستيف: ماذا تعني؟
Ben : The regulations state that each report should be corrected by two persons.
بن: ان القوانين تنص على ان كل تقرير يجب ان يتم تصحيحه من قبل شخصين.
Steve : I remember they implemented that as a measure of fairness.
ستيف: اذكر انه تم تنفيذ ذلك كاجراء منصف.
Ben : Exactly. They feel that having two sets of eyes looking over each report give the students the best chance possible and reduce human error.
بن: بالضبط. يشعرون انه إذا تم مراجعة كل تقرير بعينين مختلفتين يعطى الطلاب فرصة افضل ويقلل نسبة الخطأ البشري.
Steve : I think we can take a little at a time. Perhaps try to finish 30 each day so that we don’t fall behind.
ستيف: اعتقد انه يمكننا ان نبدأ شيئا فشيئا. ربما نحاول ان ننتهي من ثلاثون كل يوم حتى لانتخلف.
Ben : I think maybe we can work until 9:00pm.
بن: اعقتد انه ربما علينا العمل حتى التاسعة مساءا
Steve : At the end of the week we can swap and review each other’s work.
ستيف: بنهاية الاسبوع يمكننا التبادل ومراجعة عمل بعضنا البعض.
Ben : Sounds like a plan, we can use the conference room.
بن: تبدو لي خطة مناسبة، يمكننا استخدام قاعة المؤتمرات.
Steve :I tell you some of these students really need to get some extra lessons if they are planning to graduate next year.
ستيف: اقول لك ان بعض هؤلاء الطلاب يحتاجون بالفعل إلى حصص دراسية إضافية إذا كانوا ينوون التخرج السنة القادمة.
Ben : Actually I was thinking that we should propose an idea to the Principal after we finish these reports.They could hire assistants to work with those students who need additional help.
بن: في الواقع، كنت افكر بان نقترح على مدير المدرسة مشروعا بعد انتهائنا من هذه التقارير. يمكنهم تعيين معاونين للعمل مع هؤلاء الطلاب الذين يحتاجون إلى مساعدة إضافية.
Steve : I have completed grading my papers; shall I start preparing the idea in report fot the principal?
ستيف: لقد انتهيت من تقييم التقارير الخاصة بي، هل ابدأ بتحضير تقرير عن المشروع لتقديمه لمدير المدرسة؟
Ben : Go ahead, I should be finished in a few minutes then we can finalize the report tomorrow.
بن: فلتبدأ، سأنتهي خلال دقائق حتى نتمكن من الانتهاء من التقرير غذا.
