اختبار القيادة

Driving Instructor: Miss let’s begin your test.

معلم القيادة: دعينا نبدء الاختبار يا آنسة.

Liz: How long will it be?

ليز: كم سيستغرق من الوقت؟

Driving Instructor: It will last for about one hour.

معلم القيادة: سيستغرق حوالي الساعة.

Liz: I will just adjust my mirrors then buckle up and I am ready to begin.

ليز: سأقوم بضبط المرايا ثم اربط حزام الأمان وعندها سأكون مستعدة للبدء.

Driving Instructor: Start the vehicle and drive onto the main road.

معلم القيادة: أديري محرك السيارة وقودي الى الطريق الرئيسي.

Liz: Ok. I’m a bit nervous

ليز: حسنا. انا متوترة قليلا.

Driving Instructor: Just remember you will not only be tested on knowledge of the road but on your consideration of other road users.

معلم القيادة: فقط تذكري انه لن يتم اختبارك فقط على معرفتك بالطريق وانما على مراعاتك لمستخدمي الطريق الاخرين ايضا.

Liz: Yes I know. Do you want me to just continue down this road?

ليز: نعم اعرف ذلك. هل تريدني ان استمر بهذا الطريق؟

Driving Instructor: During this test you can continue driving straight until I instruct you otherwise.

معلم القيادة: خلال الاختبار قودي للأمام حتى اطلب منك شيئا أخر.

Liz: Alright.

ليز: حسنا

Driving Instructor: Make a left turn at the next junction.

معلم القيادة: انعطفي إلى اليسار عند ملتقى الطرق القادم.

Liz: What are the skills that you will test today?

ليز: ما هي المهارات التي ستختبرها اليوم؟

Driving Instructor: I want to make sure I check your 3 point turn and how you reverse.

معلم القيادة: اريد التأكد من امكانيتك لتغيير اتجاه السير وكيف تقودين السيارة إلى الخلف.

Liz: Oh my! Don’t understand why the engine cut out.

ليز: ياألهي! لا أفهم لماذا توقف المحرك.

Driving Instructor: Start again and remember to make your turn.

معلم القيادة: اديري المحرك مرة ثانية وتذكري ان تنعطفي.

Liz: Where do I turn again?

ليز: اين انعطف ثانية؟

Driving Instructor: Make a left turn please.

معلم القيادة: رجاء انعطفي إلى اليسار.

Liz: Oh I forgot to make the hand signal also, is that a problem?

ليز: أوه لقد نسيت ان اقوم بعلامة اليد إيضا، هل هذه معضلة؟

Driving Instructor: Keep your eyes on the road and look out for the pedestrian on your right.

معلم القيادة: انتبهي للطريق واحترسي من المشاه على يمينك.

Liz: Oh sorry.

ليز: اوه انا اسفة.

Driving Instructor : Ok, now show me your parallel parking skills.

معلم القيادة: حسنا، الأن اريني مهاراتك في إيقاف السيارة موازية للرصيف.

Liz : Oh my! I think I hit the pavement.

ليز: يا ألهي! اظنني قد اصطدمت بالرصيف.

Driving Instructor : You may turn off the engine. I will be going back to the office. You have failed your test.

معلم القيادة: يمكنك إيقاف المحرك. سأعود إلى المكتب. لقد رسبت بالأختبار.

Liz : Can I repeat it next week?

ليز: هل يمكنني إعادته الأسبوع القادم؟

Driving Instructor : I suggest you practice some more before you even consider repeating the test.

معلم القيادة: اقترح ان تتمرني اكثر قبل التفكير في إعادة الاختبار.

Liz: I know I can do this I am just so nervous I don’t know how to control it.

ليز: اعلم انه يمكنني فعل ذلك، انا فقط متوترة جدا ولااستطيع السيطرة على نفسي.

Driving Instructor: Well you need to showthat you have a level head when driving.

معلم القيادة: حسنا، تحتاجين إلى اظهار بعض الرزانة خلال القيادة.
