Liz: Can you take me to the Water Land Amusement Park?

ليز: هل يمكنك إيصالي إلى الحديقة المائية (وتر لاند)؟

Driver: There are two in the city. Which one do you mean?

السائق: هناك اثنان بالمدينة، أيهما تقصدين؟

Liz: The one just of the East 95 freeway.

ليز: تلك التي إلى الشرق من الطريق السريع .

Driver: Sure, that will be fifty dollars?

السائق: هذا سيكلفك خمسون دولارا .

Liz: Fifty dollars, that is very expensive.

ليز: خمسون دولارا! هذا غالي جدا!

Driver: It’s about a forty minute drive to the other side of town.

السائق: يستغرق الوصول إلى الجهة الأخرى من المدينة قيادة لمدة أربعون دقيقة.

Liz: I didn’t realize that it was so far away, I hope it is not closed when I get there.

Driver: No, the Park closes at 6:00pm so you have plenty of time.

Liz: Isn’t there a better rate you can give me?

Driver: No as I mentioned it will take a while to get there.

Liz: I wish I had someone to share this cab with me, and then I would be able to split the cost with them.

Driver: You need to decide what you want to do. There are other customers waiting for a cab.

Liz: what about if you pick up some people along the way. I don’t mind if you do other jobs while you transport me.

ليز: ماذا عن توصيل بعض الركاب في الطريق فأنا لا أمانع قيامك ببعض العمل أثناء توصيلي.

Driver: That doesn’t make any sense.

السائق: هذا غير منطقي.

Liz: Yes it does, people share cabs all the time.

ليز: الناس يتشاركون سيارة الأجرة طوال الوقت.

Driver: People going in the same direction or to the same destination. Do you want me to take you to the water park or not?

السائق: هذا ينطبق على الأشخاص المتجهين إلى نفس المكان . هل تريديني أن أوصلك إلى الحديقة المائية أم لا؟

Liz: Yes I do. Will we be passing any interesting sites?

ليز: نعم أريد. هل ستمر على أماكن ممتعة؟

Driver: Oh, yes, I will point them out to you as we pass them. It will be a nice drive.

السائق: نعم وسأوريك إياهم في الطريق. سنستمتع بالقيادة.

Liz: Also show me your best night club if we pass by it.

ليز: أيضا أريد أن أرى أفضل ملهى ليلي بالنسبة لك إذا مررنا به.

Driver: Actually we just past a great night club, about five minutes back. If you like I could take you on a day tour to show you the sites.

السائق: لقد مررنا بالفعل بملهى ليلي جيد من خمسة دقائق. إذا رغبت فبإمكاني أخذك في جولة نهارية لأوريك كافة الأماكن .

Liz: That would be great. How about Wednesday? You can pick me up at 9:00am.

ليز: هذا جيد! ماذا عن يوم الأربعاء؟ يمكنك أصطحابي في التاسعة صباحا .

Driver: I will make a note of it and we can discuss the cost then.

السائق: سأدون ذلك ويمكننا مناقشة التكلفة عندها .
