Police : What’s wrong Miss?

ضابط الشرطة: ماالخطب يا أنسة؟

Liz : I’ve just been robbed.

ليز: لقد سرقت للتو

Police : Where did this happen?

ضابط الشرطة: اين حدث هذا؟

Liz : About five blocks from here.

ليز: حوالي على بعد خمس عمارات من هنا.

Police : Can you describe the assailant?

ضابط الشرطة: هل يمكنك وصف المعتدي؟

Liz : I’m not sure. It all happened so fast.

ليز: لست متأكدة. لقد حدث كل شيء سريعا.

Police : What can you tell me about the person?

ضابط الشرطة: ماذا يمكنك ان تقولي لي عن الشخص؟

Liz : I don’t remember much honestly. I was just so scared.

ليز: لااتذكر كثير بصراحة. لقد كنت خائفة جدا.

Police : No detail is too small.

ضابط الشرطة: لاتفاصيل هذا قليل جدا

Liz : Well he was definitely taller than me.

ليز: حسنا لقد كان اطول مني بالتأكيد

Police : Do you remember any distinguishing marks?

ضابط الشرطة: هل تتذكرين اية علامات مميزة؟

Liz : What do you mean?

ليز: ماذا تعني؟

Police : Did the person have any tattoos or birth marks?

ضابط الشرطة: هل كان لدي الشخص اي وشم او وحمات؟

Liz : Not that I remember.

ليز: ليس على مااذكر.

Police : Why don’t you just start at the beginning and tell me what happened.

ضابط الشرطة: لما لاتبدئين من البداية وتقولي لي ما حدث.

Liz : Well I was just coming out of a friend’s apartment building.

ليز: حسنا كنت بالكاد خارجة من مبنى صديق لي؟

Police : You were standing alone?

ضابط الشرطة: كنت تقفين بمفردك؟

Liz : Yes, I was just waiting for a cab. Then the guy just came from behind me and grabbed my bag.

ليز: نعم، كنت فقط انتظر سيارة الاجرة. ثم جاء الرجل من خلفي وانتزع حقيبتي.

Police : I will put this in a report. If you remember something else later, feel free to contact me.

ضابط الشرطة: ساضع ذلك في محضر. اذا تذكرت شيئا اخر فيما بعد، رجاء اعلميني.

Liz : I’m sorry I was not more helpful

ليز: انا اسف، لم اكن ذو نفع

Police : You did your best we will investigate it from here.

ضابط الشرطة: لقد فعلت مابوسعك ونحن سنحقق من هنا.
