Alterations on fabric

اصلاح الملابس

Liz: I lost a few pounds and need to get some of my work suits altered.

ليز: لقد خسرت عدة ارطال واحتاج إلى اصلاح بعض ملابس العمل

Dressmaker: Ok let''''s see what you have.

الخياط: حسنا فلنرى ما لديك

Liz: I have these 3 pant suits, one dress and two skirt suits.

ليز: معي هذه البدل الثلاث ذو البنطال، ثوب وبدلتان ذو تنورة

Dressmaker: These are fairly simple design and well-made. They should be easy enough to alter.

الخياط: هذه التصميمات بسيطة ومتقنة الصنع. سيكون من السهل تعديلها

Liz: Would you be able to alter this double breasted blazer as well?

ليز: هل يمكنك تعديل هذه السترة مزدوجة الأزرار ايضا؟

Dressmaker: This one is a little more intricate. Try one of the other suits while I take a look at the blazer.

الخياط: هذه معقدة اكثر. قيسي احدى البدل حتى القي نظرة على السترة

Liz: which one should I put on?

ليز: اي بدلة أرتديها؟

Dressmaker: It doesn''''t matter I just want to get an idea of how they fit you.

الخياط: لايهم، انا فقط اريد ان اتخذ فكرة عن قياس البدل عليكي

Liz: Where is the fitting room?

ليز: اين هي غرفة القياس؟

Dressmaker: It''''s just behind you there on the left.

الخياط: انها خلفك بالضبط على اليسار

Liz: I put on this dress because I think it needs the most alteraten

ليز: سأرتدي هذا الثوب لأني اعتقد انه يحتاج إلى معظم تعديلات

Dressmaker: I will need to measure you again.

الخياط: سأحتاج ان اقوم بقياسك مرة اخرى

Liz: Ok. Can you take the hem up a bit on this one also?

ليز: حسنا. هل يمكنك ان ترفع حافة الثوب هذا أيضا؟

Dressmaker: How much shorter do you want it?

الخياط: إلى أي مدى تريديني ان اقصر؟

Liz: I would like it just below my knee.

ليز: اود ان يكون اسفل ركبتي بالضبط

Dressmaker: What if I take it to right there? That is about an inch shorter.

الخياط: ماذا ان قصرته إلى هنا؟ هذا حوالي بوصة اقصر

Liz: That looks perfect.

ليز: هذا يبدو رائع

Dressmaker: Let me just put a pin to mark where you want it.

الخياط: دعيني اضع دبوس لأعلم المكان الذي تريدينه

Liz: Let me show you how much closer I want these to fit so you can mark them now also. I don''''t like my clothes too tight. This is what I wear to work after all.

ليز: دعني اريك كم اريد ان تلائمني الملابس حتى تعلم عليها ايضا. فأنا لاأريد ان تكون ثيابي ضيقة جدا. فأن هذا ما ارتديه للعمل بالنهاية

Dressmaker: Perhaps you want to try a pair of pants also. I don''''t want to take it in too much.

الخياط: ربما يجب ان تقيسي البنطال ايضا. فلا اريد ان أضيقه اكثر من اللازم

Liz: That''''s a good idea. How soon do you think I can have them back?

ليز: هذه فكرة جيدة. برأيك ما اقرب وقت تستطيع ان تعيدهم لي؟

Dressmaker: probably by the end of the week. My goodness! How much weight did you lose?

الخياط: على الأرجح في نهاية الاسبوع. ياألهي! كم خسرت من الوزن؟

Liz: Twenty pounds. I went on a liquid diet.

ليز: عشرون رطلا. لقد اتبعت حمية غذائية تعتمد على السوائل

Dressmaker: That''''s a lot of weight. I might need an additional two days to alter these suits.

الخياط: هذا كثير من الوزن. قد احتاج ليومين أضافيين حتى اقوم بتعديل هذه البدل

Liz: I would really appreciate if you could fix them as soon as possible. I really need some work clothes.

ليز: اني حقا ساقدر ان تقوم بالتعديلات في اسرع وقت. فأني حقا احتاج إلى بعض الملابس للعمل

Dressmaker: I will try my best but this will be quite a bit of work.

الخياط: سأقوم بأفضل ما عندي ولكن هذا يتطلب بعض العمل

Liz: Thanks I''''ll check with you this weekend just to see how you are getting along.
