Liz: I think we should go over our requirements before we meet with the adoption agency tomorrow.

ليز: أظن انه يجب مراجعة متطلباتنا قبل لقاءنا بوكالة التبني غدا

Steve: Sure honey, we can do that now.

ستيف: بالطبع حبيبتي، يمكننا القيام بذلك الأن

Liz: Well, they said the meeting is just for the case worker to get to know us.They want to get an idea of what kind of people we are and what we are expecting.

ليز: حسنا، لقد قالوا ان الأجتماع هو فقط لاتاحة الفرصة للمسؤول عن الحالة للتعرف علينا. فهم يريدون تكوين فكرة عنا ومعرفة ماهي توقعاتنا

Steve: What about the documents they have asked for?

ستيف: ماذا عن المستندات التي طلبوها؟

Liz: well we are prepared there also. I have everything here in this envelope.

ليز: حسنا، نحن مستعدون لذلك أيضا. لدي كل شىء هنا بالمغلف

Steve: We should really talk about what we will say our expectations are.

ستيف: يجب علينا حقا الحديث عما سنقوله من حيث توقعاتنا

Liz: I really would like to adopt a baby, but as you know, it's difficult to adopt a baby. There are many families looking for babies to adopt.

ليز: اني حقا اريد تبني طفلا، ولكن كما تعلم، انه من الصعب تبني طفلا. هناك الكثير من العائلات تبحث عن اطفال للتبني

Steve: I think we should consider adopting an older child. What about a six year old. At that age they are still young and impressionable.

ستيف: اعتقد انه يجب علينا التفكير في تبني طفل اكبر سنا. ماذا عن طفل بعمر الست سنوات. في هذا العمر هم لازالوا صغار وسريعي التأثر

Liz: That's what I am considering also. I know if we wait for a baby it might take a couple of years. I really just want to have a child to love. I don't think the age is so important anymore.

ليز: هذا ما افكر به ايضا. اعلم انه إذا انتظرنا طفلا قد يستغرق هذا عدة سنوات. انا فقط اريد ان يكون لدي طفلا احبه. أظن ان السن لم يعد بهذه الأهمية

Steve: What we need to decide is if we are prepared to wait or if we will give our unconditional love to an older child. I can tell you that I am willing to adopt an older child, boy or girl.

ستيف: ما نحتاج ان نحدده هو إذا ما كنا على استعداد للانتظار ام سنعطي حبنا التام لطفل عمره اكبر. يمكنني القول اني ارغب في تبني طفل اكبر صبي او فتاة

Liz: I thought about it and I don't want to wait. I think it is better to have a child sooner rather than later. We can try to bond with them.

ليز: لقد فكرت في ذلك ولاأريد ان انتظر. اعتقد انه من الافضل الحصول على طفل الآن وليس لاحقا. يمكننا ان نوثق علاقتنا بهم

Steve: Good. Now that we are in agreement we can move forward. I am sure we should be able to meet a child within the next two weeks.

ستيف: جيد. بما اننا متفقين يمكننا المضي قدما. انا متأكد اننا قادرين على استقبال طفل خلال الاسبوعين القادمين

Liz: When we meet with the agency tomorrow they will be able to organize that for us. I am so excited. I have a good feeling about this adoption.

ليز: في اجتماعنا بالوكالة غذا سيتمكنون من ترتيب ذلك لنا. انا متحمسة جدا. لدي شعور جيد حيال هذا التبني

Steve: So do I. Can you believe that in a couple of months we could be parents?

ستيف: وكذلك انا. هل تصدقين اننا خلال عدة اشهر يمكننا ان نصبح اب وام؟

Liz: I am so looking forward to being a parent, I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight.

ليز: اني اتطلع ان اكون ام، لااعلم ان كنت سأستطيع النوم الليلة

Steve: After our meeting tomorrow we will go out to lunch to celebrate.

ستيف: بعد اجتماعنا غدا، فلنذهب لتناول الغذاء للاحتفال

Liz: I hope we will have something to celebrate.

ليز: ارجو ان يكون هناك شىء للاحتفال به

Steve: I'm sure we will. There are many children out there looking for a home and parents to love them.

ستيف: انا متأكد اننا سنفعل. هناك الكثير من الأطفال في مكان ما يبحثون عن منزل وأباء لحبهم ورعايتهم

Liz: You have just been so positive through this whole process. You will be a great dad Steve.

ليز: لقد كنت ايجابي جدا خلال هذه العملية برمتها. ستكون اب رائع ستيف

Steve: Well I know the odds are in our favour. We both have good jobs, make a decent income. We are good people Liz and I know you will be a great mother.

ستيف: حسنا، اني اعلم ان الفرص في صالحنا. فنحن الاثنان لدينا وظائف جيدة، ونحصل على دخل لائق. نحن اشخاص طيبين ليز واعلم انك ستكونين ام رائعة

Liz: I'm just so nervous. I want to get the process started; I want a family more than anything.

ليز: اني حقا قلقة. اريد ان تبدأ عملية التبني، اريد ان تكون لي عائلة اكثر من اي شيء
