كرة السلة ، كرة السلة هي رياضة جماعية و شعبية حيث يتنافس فيها فريقان يتألف كل منهما من خمسة لاعبين ، وتعتمد تلك اللعبة على مبدأ التعامل مع الكرة باستخدام الأيدي فقط، مساحة ملعب كرة السلة وأبعاده خمسة عشر متراً عرضاً، ويبلغ طول الملعب ثمانية وعشرين متراً ، الرجال يلعبون بكرة ذات وزن وحجم أكبر من تلك التي تستخدمها السيّدات أو حتى الأطفال .
