الضميرين I و Me احيانا يتسببا لمتعلمي اللغة الإنجليزية بالكثير من الخلط وخصوصا إن حين يتم استخدامهما مع كلمة And وفي الواقع فإن اختيار استخدام احداهما دون الآخر سهل جدا بمجرد أن تتعرف على القاعدة. الان دعونا نتعرف سويا على الفرق بينهما وكيفية الاختيار في الجمل الإنجليزية المختلفة مع ألامثلة على ذلك.
I - is the first person singular subject pronoun , which means that it refers to the person performing the action of a verb.
I هي اول ضمير فاعل مفرد. مما يعني انها تشير إلى الشخص الذي يقوم بفعل الفعل الموجود بالجملة.
I want to go. - This is the one I like.
مثال : -أنا أريد أن أذهب. -هذا هو ما أريد.
Me - is an object pronoun, which means that it refers to the person that the action of a verb is being done to, or to whom a preposition refers.
Me هي ضمير مفعول، مما يعني انها تشير إلى الشخص الذي يقع عليه فعل الفعل الخاص بالجملة. و إلى من يشير اليه حرف الجر.
David told me to leave. - He gave me ten dollars.
مثال : - ديفيد اخبرني ان اذهب. - هو أعطاني 10 دولار.
This confusion usually occurs when you have I/me connected to another pronoun or name with and or or
الخلط بين الضميرين غالبا ما يكون عندما يقترنا ببعضهما بأحد الآداتين And أو Or.
Between you and me, this is a bad idea. - She needs to talk to Joe or me.
-بيني وبينك هذة فكرة سيئة. -هي تريد التحدث إلىّ أو إلى جو..
Let's take this example : John and I are ready. Why didn't we say : John and me are ready?
لنأخذ مثال لتوضيح القاعدة وهو : "John and I are ready.". لماذا لم نقل "John and me are ready"؟
The reason you say John and I in that sentence is that John and I are the subject. If they were the object, you’d use me: He told John and me to get ready.
السبب هو أن "John and I" في هذة الجملة هما الفاعل. فلو كانا المفعول لأخترنا me. كأن نقول: "He told John and me to get ready." وهنا John and me هما المفعول به ولذلك اخترنا me.
here is still a very easy way to decide whether to use I or me: try out the sentence with just I or me (or if you need a plural, we or us – we is equivalent to I and us is equivalent to me ).
وهناك طريقة اسهل لتختار بين I و me في الجملات المختلفة. وهى ان تجرب الجملة فقط بأحد الآداتين I أو ME لتستطيع ان تقرر. او في الجمع (We و Us) حيث we توازي I و US توازي me.
He told Tom and (I or me?) to get ready. - He told I to get ready? NO - He told me to get ready? YES - Therefore, He told Tom and me to get ready.
مثال : He told Tom and (I or me?) to get ready نختار هنا I أو ME ؟ فلنجرب أداة واحدة فقط : هل نقول: He told I to get ready? طبعا تكون خاطئة. ونجرب He told me to get ready فنجدها صحيحة. فإذا نقول: He told Tom and me to get ready.
Just between you and (I or me?), this is a bad idea. - Just between we? NO - Just between us? YES - Just between you and me, this is a bad idea.
مثال اخر: Just between you and (I or me?), this is a bad idea. نختار هنا I أو ME ؟ هل نقول : Just between we طبعا خطأ. ولكن Just between us هي الصحيحة . فتكون : Just between you and me, this is a bad idea.
